Once again we met at the studio of John Superti and worked on our latest pieces. Holly caught the bug to make jewelry this time, earrings, John was working on a necklace, while Carolyn created one more mobile!
We hope to have Ursula and John Schmitz back with us for our next meeting in January. In the meantime, enjoy the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday!!

Recently I went to see a couple of "Strandbeests" or beach animals, created by Dutch artist Theo Jansen. They were roaming the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston, as a promotional for a show at the Peabody-Essex Museum starting September 19, 2015. A very different kind of wind driven device, which has to be pushed along when they are out of their element!
